Janglin- Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

We all love ‘em don’t we? Who cannot appreciate the hippie dippie lovin’ feeling we get from their jam sessions? This song in particular urges me into uncontrollable sing alongs & 3/4 time clap off.

I have a complicated love affair with Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.  I absolutely HEART their music BUT some of you may or may not have heard my beef with Jade Castrinos.  My simple metaphor for her energy?  The girl in spanish class who raises their hand too much, uses that white girl “authentic” accent, makes you speak ONLY in Spanish even when just shooting the shit before class, etc. Y’all know this type.

So I love them & don’t get me wrong.  Also that girl has an amazing voice, no doubt about it, but whenever I see them live I cringe a bit.

I am obviously self loathing cause they’re coming to SF AGAIN (this has got to be their 4th visit in the last 6 mo!).  They’ll be hittin up the Great American Music Hall December 22nd.  I go, you come wit me!
