Black Lake- Real Estate

Well, after spending major parts of both Saturday & Sunday outdoors in GGPark at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (which is amazing btw) I am coming to realize summer is over. I should be excited as fall in SF holds some of the most fun & best weather any youngin could hope for BUT somehow my heart strings still pull. Recently I shared a Julian Lynch jam that played a major part of the day to day soundtrack. & here is another epic song from my lazy summer which Real Estate could be said to have starred in.

In related news, I read this article from WOW magazine about Julian Lynch on Friday which is worth a gander mainly because it proves my new theory that maybe the Rock Star is a dying breed.  Here we have another really talented musician who is a completely normal guy: getting his masters in Madison, playing his clarinet & hanging with his buddies from Real Estate. It’s fun to think about musicians as normal people…reminds me of that stars are just like us section in US magazine where they show SHOCKING images of movie stars doing normal people things, like riding a bike or tying their shoe.
